I'm sorry I haven't been around as much, but I've been going through quite a bit of business regarding my application to Concordia- St. Louis. I need to take my Graduate Record exam ( studying), my Entry Level Competency Exam ( ordering the proper books and studying those) and I need to register for a Public Speaking class. Between that and my efforts to find a more lucrative means of employment through the department of rehab services, therapy and getting my bills paid, I haven't been able to contribute much.

We're glad for the update, but don't apologize. You have quite a lot on your plate at the present!

Ever consider Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville?
At least you're not going to Luther Seminary here in St Paul. Whew!

Best wishes you to in your job search and test taking. I remember taking my state NCE licensing exam. I studied over 100 hours for one test. It took over 3 hours for me to complete the test

The GRE is not hard..... however you ranked in the SAT or ACT, you'll rank AT LEAST that on the GRE and probably better. I doubt this is a major consideration for seminary, anyway (it actually isn't for grad schools either)

I got a 155 on the verbal, 166 on the quant. I don't recall what my writing was, I think it was a low 4 maybe even a 4.0 If I had taken a prep course, I think I could have risen the verbal score - although I was very happy with what I got.

Good luck!
