She didn't say you would be healed from it, she said you wouldn't get it at all. So, I just have to name it and claim it and I won't get sick. Apparently, in her view the problem is a lack of faith if your sick. Or maybe I just didn't send in enough money to their ministry

I'd expect nothing less from the Copelands. The theology is toxic to the core and more prone to destroy faith than build it.

I don't agree with her, but it's not as though the idea hasn't been promoted by all sorts of other people before her.

Here is a snip from a different article about her church In 2013, the Copelands' church was the site of a measles outbreak, in which 21 people became sick, apparently due to lack of vaccination. One church member told the Associated Press, "To get a vaccine would have been viewed by me and my friends and my peers as an act of fear—that you doubted God would keep you safe. ... We simply didn't do it." https://www.charismanews.com/us/694...-shot-and-inoculate-yoursel******h-god-s-word

I don't see how it's loving to your neighbor to give them advice about avoiding medicines because she's twisting the bible. We have sickness and disease because of original sin.

Not only that, but what it could do particularly to a young believer who hears that and then gets sick. They think to themselves well i just don't have enough faith. But, a more comprehensive look at the Bible shows us that God doesn't teach us that we will be able to avoid all of life's troubles. In fact, we are promised that we will have some
