This year I've gotten into watching some of the older horror movies that are shown on the Comet channel. I like a lot of the old black and whites as they can be really creepy.

IMO, The Exercist is #1 for scary (but TOO much for me, I rarely watch it). Young Frankenstein is my fav Halloween movie but it hardly qualifies as a horror film, lol

If anyone doesn't like truly scary movies but enjoys the gore, try watching Tucker & Dale vs Evil. It's stupid but hilarious.

oooOOOOoooo, I forgot about 'Psycho'! Good one. My fave is 'The Shining'. I've been watching that for years. It never gets old and never ceases to freak me out. I can't stomach The Exorcist. Just too disgusting.

I do not like possession themed films on the whole so I avoid them. I don't watch the blood filled serial killing horror themed films either. The news is getting too much like one of those films. As Jesus said, Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof. I suppose mostly I do not like horror films.

That is a comedy rather than a horror film though it is themed on an old horror film.

I rented 'Happy Death Day' not too long ago (yeah, I know, a teen flick...). It's like a twisted Groundhog Day - actually pretty funny in different spots. Predictable, but the humor makes up for it.

Lately I've been watching scary videos on Youtube...people investigating abandoned old houses and buildings at night and they hear weird noises, etc (its sorta like ghost hunters i guess)
