How often do you wash/wax your car?

Since I started working I don't wash my car very often. We try to wax the vehicles twice a year though and I might be behind this year!

I took it through the wash this past week. I think it would have been worthwhile to use the wax option, which I didn't.

We are in a severe drought, and with the water restrictions, we are not allowed to wash our cars right now. We had a little rain over the last couple of days, but currently it will take 3 months of solid rain to refill our reserves. The rest of summer is still supposed to be hot and dry, so in reality, it will take far more than 3 months. So.... we will all be driving very dirty cars for at least the next several months.

We don't very often as we don't like this car very much, to be honest, our old car was in the car wash nearly every week because it was white.. this one really should be put through now tho its rotten, even with the rain we had last week ..lol

I might run the car through the car wash a couple of times a year, but I don't have time to wash it by hand anymore nor the energy.

I never wax...I Zaino. And I do it obsessively.

I've been known to spend 60 hours detailing 1 car...put her up on jack stands, get out the crawler, etc.

When I begin to mentally try to justify taking shortcuts, then I know it's time to quit and continue later.

because our car is stored within an open car park, it gets coated with a lot of dust. i usually wash and wax car once every 1-2 weeks. in between time i wipe with soft dry cloth. i recommend turtle wax spray wax because you can add it to a wet surface for a showroom shine.

Wax attracts dust while Zaino will repel it...just sayin'...LOL!

I think it can only be obtained online...and it is a lot of work up front if done correctly, but once you lay down the foundation, then maintenance is a breeze.

Wax the car, more or less never.

Wash the car - when it rains hard I sometimes park the car outside. Might as well get a free wash if it's on offer, no?

since california is in drought stage, we arent allowed to wash car with hose. just small bucket and towel. i just wipe down car with wet rag. its not as effective, but it'll have to do
