I used to have a box for this purpose filled with things that were of great value to me but I separated that stuff in our move so now I think that my purse filled with my ID and credit cards will benefit me more than an item from the home.

Well wallet and keys are a good thing to grab. Any meds you need to keep taking. After that it is hard to say. You are going to lose a ton of stuff, so whatever you save is pretty minor overall, probably something that can't be replaced.

It would be my file containing all my passwords and important information. These days our lives run online and I would be lost indeed without that.
