I have a few first memories from when I was a toddler and didn't speak in full sentences. People would lift me up at my ribcage and that absolutely hurt!! I couldn't tell them though because the language wasn't there, so I cried and they didn't understand why.

I remember my mom pushing me around stores in a baby stroller. It was in Texas in the 70s, but I have no other memories from that decade.
