Did that once long time ago and found out why they were on sale. There was a squeak in one of the shoes that could not be remedied. I got my money back.

Opened food. I know this sounds common sense, but there's a store close-by that sells food that's been opened, resealed, and discounted. Some of it's just damaged packaging, so no issues there, but other things have clearly been opened (e.g. rice, coffee)
