How do you think the devil and the demons figure into such "voices," @Edward429451?

Oh boy you ask good questions! Lol. Ok.

I hesitate to believe that demons can possess a Christian, because possession suggests ownership, and Christians are indwelt by the Holy Spirit so that isn't possible. However, demons can entice people to do things and perhaps even put thoughts in our heard at weak moments?

We know our heart is deceitfully wicked, right? So is the soul that has an Adamic nature (That's All of us). So many times we are drawn away from our own lusts and enticed to sin in and of ourselves.

I think that after this earth is all over and we can look back, we will be Astonished at how much demonic Oppression that we were (are) really under. Our Atmosphere is probably saturated with spirits. All of them trying to hide.

So when an evil spirit talks to your soul, hey let's do this, it sounds just like the carnal soul, mind. When Jesus was on earth, the main thrust of His Ministry besides talking, was, casting out evil spirits, so the devil & Demons have to figure in in a big way. AND!!!! We have been given Authority over them, in Jesus name. And the sad fact is, to cast out evil spirits was given to us in our great commission. Go do this He said. Cast out spirits, heal the sick, raise the dead, spread the Gospel the Kingdom of Heaven, is at Hand! So of course we would have total protection from these spirits.

It is written, Abide in Me sayeth the Lord, be led by the Spirit...so if we are in a moment where we are not being led this very moment...do we still have protection then? I don't know, but I kind of doubt it.

I remember even when I wasn't walking with the Lord yet, some friends set me up on a blind date and, I wasnt thrilled but they were trying to help? So I said yes and came over at the alloted time. I seen her demon pretty quick. She blew it and opened her mouth too far. Stupid demon, lol.

I think we were playing cards or something the girl got this 1000 yard stare on her face like she was deep in thought, (But her eyes were right on me...and she says, I wish I could get pregnant then I could get on welfare and get my s**t together...Man talk about too much info! Lol. I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. I pretended my pager went off on vibrate and I have an emergency and have to leave...bye.

What some guys take as an invitation others run from. I was young and not very wise, but it don't take much wisdom to run from people like that!

I wonder why her demon wanted me to sleep with her so bad? Maybe I dodged a big bullet!
