That's true. The closer we walk with God and obey Him, the more He will bless us with good health.

Look what happened to Moses! He was very close to God. He didn't always like it and he messed up some, but he didn't even really die. He just layed down, and the Lord took his spirit.

That's why the enemy came and wanted Moses body. To give to an evil spirit to possess it because Moses was in great health so His body did not have anything wrong with it, he was healthy. And little wonder, because he spoke face to face with God and spent a lot of time in His presence!

So yeah, walk with the Lord and be serious about it. And remember that Life & death are in the power of the tongue. So you have the authority to speak life over your body (No prayers needed!) That's part of walking with God, Belief. It only takes a smidgen of faith, like a mustard seed, but you must speak the words to your body, and expect the Lord to give you results. Just Believe it and do it.

Many miracles are not instantly. Especially healing miracles. But I have hear quite a few Testimonies where the people said, it was healed the next day or two weeks later or whenever so I think that is God wanting to see us holding onto our faith in Him and Believing over a period of time! He does that stuff to me! I noticed He is last minute, never late...

Can't hurt to try.

@Edward429451, I respectfully disagree with you. Sometimes, it happens the way you say it does; other times, God uses medical means to heal us; and sometimes, he waits until our death to heal our soul or until our bodily resurrection. It's true that he will heal us in the last of in those ways.

I have had four kinds of chronic physical pain, while walking with the Lord as a preacher/teacher and now as an author. God has healed me of a seven-year major depression for all that time, but he has not healed me of my pain, though he has given me peace to accept it (Philippians 4:6-7),

Php 4:6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I know that he has not removed my pain because it is my "thorn" (2 Corinthians 12:1-10):

2Co 12:1 I must go on boasting. Though there is nothing to be gained by it, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2Co 12:2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows.
2Co 12:3 And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows—
2Co 12:4 and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.
2Co 12:5 On behalf of this man I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses—
2Co 12:6 though if I should wish to boast, I would not be a fool, for I would be speaking the truth; but I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me.
2Co 12:7 So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited.
2Co 12:8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me.
2Co 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Co 12:10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I know you disagreed with me and what you said does sound right. It can and does happen even different ways than I spoke of. I myself live with pain and I've called it my thorn too. And it is actually good in that, it is a reminder to me of the day the Lord saved my life and how much I owe him.

Besides some human ailments can be purely physical or they can be demonic. Or maybe it's a physical ailment at first and that brings a demon somehow? Or, it is a demon at first and it develops into a physical ailment also? That's prolly more likely with some things because their mission is to steal/kill/destroy as compared to an ailment bringing demons around.

Like mental health issues. There are more mental health issues nowadays than there ever was before They have a disorder for it no matter what you do. lol. I used to read the DSM and I quit it, man it makes everyone sound sick and disordered! Better to look at oneself in the Mirror of Scripture than a medical book. ''Lots of Lunatics seem to get very strong and it's hard to control them. Even in scripture, the lunatic eho lived in the tombs and would break off his chains and everyone feared them...That's not an ailment, that's demonic.

So instead of speaking to the problem if that dont work, you could try casting it out as a spirit and treat it like a spirit who has a name.

I hear what you're saying about meds though. I take anti-seizure meds and I know long I can go without medicine and still be safe behind the wheel of my truck. And it helps me, but I also have to smoke weed and I aint happy about that, that's a young man thing. The last two times I quit smoking pot I had a seizre in 3 days and wasnt on medicine, and another time I quit smoking, it was 4 days later I had another seizure. That's the one that almost killed me, but the Lord intervened! And I was on anti-seizure meds for the 2nd one! All I did was stop smoking pot.

The spirit of Seizures is the same type the Disciples could not cast out. This kind goes out only through prayer and fasting so I'm working through that right now.

I have a DVD of my x-ray of all the hardware in my back and one of these days, it will make a dandy Testimony, that I used to have hardware!

@Edward 429451, I had seven years of growing major depression (1979-1986), from which God delivered me January 7, 1987. It has not returned. First, God used psychological means to get me in touch with my anger and anxiety that I had repressed in my unconscious mind. Second, at the depth of my depression, God allowed my pain to happen. He cured my depression but not my pain. Third, it seems to me that Job's experience has some bearing on your questioning. God allowed Satan to attack Job with a physical skin disease. Fourth, I'm very thankful for medications that God has used to keep my life going at 82 years old with my writing career. May God bless you, Edward.
