World Axe Throwing

I'm watching the World Axe Throwing competition. Have you ever done axe throwing? Do you enjoy it?

I am scared to try it myself, but a few years ago I saw a hatchet throwing contest. It is interesting to watch. Just beware of the wild throw.

It's all the rage now and I was trying to convince my daughter to apply at one of the places when it was advertising for help. She's kind of accident prone so I'm not sure that would have been such a good idea.

I did it last year, it was really fun. Although, my friend did cut his finger pretty badly, but that was because he dropped the axe...it was avoidable. I definitely would like to do it again, but the place here is only open on weekends, and those for me are usually family days/nights.

I also hope that in these contests there is some official inspecting the axes to ensure the heads are secure, lest they fly off on the back swing.
