Thanks Menno, about drinking, I won't drink more than a 6 pack and even then I usually giving my dad a couple, I never get stumbling drunk and I hate strong drink, but I tell yeah, when me and my dad have a couple of drinks over a bbq we usually ALWAYS end up discussing Faith and I show im scriptures when he asks me specific questions, sort of the Catholic side in me but drinking wine would actually make me tipsy, never cared for it. Jesus drank wine, I believe Timothy was prescribed wine for his stomach ailments (correct me if im wrong)
I thank you for your words, lighting up doesn't draw me away from God but I need to stop regardless because it's not healthy.
2018 was by far the worst year of my life, the good that came from it is it has drawn my mom closer to God, I'm so proud of her, been going with her to her Catholic church for support, I have no problem with the visits there it's just reaaally boring! lol
And yes, Heart disease caused by fatty Fast foods is the number one leading cause of death in America.
I guess if you eat fatty foods you are against God and go to hell :/

I think we'd agree that whether it's a Whopper from Burger King or a Double Double from In 'n Out, consuming such is not the cause or reason why one is granted or gained spiritual life, faith and the Holy Spirit. One will gain a lot of fat and calories, however.

The apostles and disciples were put in prison, not for breaking the law like a criminal, but for preaching the gospel.
The apostles and disciples are the ones who traveled and went without food and needed to be given drink and food a long the way.

A Holy man and obedient servant of Christ would speak most compassionately to his brother and offer advice and share inspirational scriptures and encouragement if he truly was concerned over that persons actions.
You provided none, I shared that moment because I had 2 deaths in the same month and my mom got diagnosed with a terminal illness, so I relapsed, Im not happy about it and I know God sees it as being weak in faith but he I will overcome and believe me it's no party, its an off and on struggle that I have dealt with for a long time. I actually enjoy not smoking, so I see this as a test, when I turn 35 (in a few months) I plan on quiting for the final time if I don't quit sooner.

But shame on you! Oh I'm not a Christian because I'm going through a rough tribulation and because I don't believe your "Faithless Obedience" philosophy?

Your sin is very deadly, preaching 'Faithless Obedience' is a damnable heresy, it makes Christ sacrifice pointless and meaningless, and btw we have TWO commands!
LOVE GOD and LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR, your lack of compassion toward someones temporal struggle proves that your Love for your neighbor is void when you accuse them of being Godless, you are not very Christian and you are a boastful hypocrite.
Due to this lack of love and compassion and your prideful boasting of your "faithless obedience" I believe that your righteousness does NOT exceed those of the Pharisees!
You win the award for worst "Christian" Theology that is "Faithless Obedience"
You throw Grace, forgiveness, Mercy and Jesus atonement of sins in the garbage because in your "Faithless theology" only YOU can save yourself by your self works, you would have made a good pharisee because they were great at keeping laws and commandments without having God given Faith!
I pray you only eat only salads and fruits and vegetables because any other type of food might be a sin unto death.

Jesus didn't read scripture all alone, he went to Temple, Muslims read scripture on their own and they created ISIS.
I tell you brother that it is impossible to not have Faith and then to obey.
You are selfish and strung up on your EGO, it's all about you, everyone here can attest to the fact that I have let go of many beliefs that I held strong to, from unitarian to Trinity, from evidence of Faith through tongues to Faith with out supernatural evidence, from strict Holy living to Grace and Maturity with Christ as my only example. God has ordained leaders and teachers whom he speaks through and so I encourage you to find a Church but also rightly divide scriptures if you feel there teachings are out of context.
The Early church was always about assembly! No one had books then, and now many are mislead and cherry pick verses that fit their idea.
