I know few people who say this to me

1) If you get married, you have a partner to take care of you in times of need (do this really happen nowadays where the divorce rate is high)
2) You can get extra money to manage financial needs as your spouse will also work
3) Your parents will have a grand child to play with.
4) People will start talking crap about you as you have started a family.

As for number one, I have to say that when you get older and things start going wrong with your body that it's to know someone has your back and will be there for you no matter what.

In real life, things don't exactly work in that order or even have atleast 3 of the things absent. That's what I have seen so far. But each to their own. We can't really predict the future on how things happen and how people should get married.
