I don't. Surely you are aware of the Genesis diet? I mean, really, God only gave Adam and Eve one command - don't eat of that tree. And in scores of Christian churches and writing we see...an apple and a snake. There is no mention of an apple in Genesis.

THIS is important, why? Cannot an artist represent something in a way that makes a stronger impression on the viewer than in a fashion that's probably more correct but less compelling? Of course. It's done all the time.

And a mural is not a catechism. For example, the church in which I grew up as a child has a wall painting of Mary floating up into the sky in a blue and white gown, but I don't know anyone who insists that this what the Assumption of Mary looked like. The Roman Catholic Church, which is associated with that "must believe" dogma, doesn't even stipulate HOW it is that her body came to be in heaven.
