Why is Donald Trump participating again in an electoral process that he claims is rigged against him?
Don't most of us think that it's right (or even necessary) to push back against injustice? Wouldn't
your natural instinct be to try to resist the opposition party's attempt to change the rules and defy centuries of law merely in order to target you personally because you're likely to defeat their candidate?
Wouldn't
you want to do this when you knew for a fact that you'd been better at the job when in office than the current occupant of the position?
And wouldn't
you be inclined to rise to the challenge if you knew that the survival of free elections in your country was at stake? I think you would!
And even if
you choose NOT to do so in the end, and instead decided to go quietly into prison for crimes you had not committed (would you really do that?), don't you think that the question we're asked here is just a little bit silly?
Most of the people here "fight back" whenever they so much as read a contrary opinion on a discussion board! Yet, the question asks them why, if they were the leading for election to the Presidency in 2024 they wouldn't just accept being cheated out of it and their freedom along with it?
Maybe the question of this thread deserves a second thought before we go much further with it.
