One church I attend has 3 services Sunday morning, Prayer/Worship Sunday evening, Wednesday night Bible Study/Worship service, and various mtgs/services thru the week.
Some neighbors are probably glad they dont ring the bell.

I love the sound of church bells too, but in fairness when I rented a holiday apartment within earshot of the church, where the bells chimed every 15 minutes throughout the night, I was less keen on them by the time I went back home.
Side note, even more unrelated to the topic, on another vacation I stopped by a church to take some photographs (a lovely little picturesque village in SW England) and ended up invited to join in ringing the bells. That was fun.

I don't see why we can't praise God with loud music. Psalm 150 talks of doing just that.
We need to make sure our focus is on God rather than on the music, and there is a danger with more modern songs to become very repetitive and induce a state of euphoria that is then confused with a spiritual encounter, which in turn leads to all sorts of problems. But it's just as easy to fall into the mindset that because we are singing a traditional hymn we must therefore be worshiping God, when the truth might be we are singing the hymn and following a prescribed order of service while thinking more about the work we need to do when we get home and remembering the really good evening we had last Friday. I'm sure the sound of 1000 people singing "Praise my soul the King of heaven" accompanied by a cathedral pipe organ is every bit as loud as 250 people singing Bethel-style drivel like "jump, jump, jump jump in the river" accompanied by an electric guitar.
