Lousy service, not the Iran war, killed Spirit Airlines.

Spirit was doomed to fail because of mismanagement, deep financial problems, and – crucially – its reputation for poor customer service. The spike in jet fuel prices during the war just accelerated Spirit’s inevitable demise.

I don't ever remember hearing good things about Spirit airlines. I never flew with them because we don't fly too often.

All businesses fail for the same reason, they don't make enough money to stay in business.

So the real question is why didn't they make enough money.

Every failure is a learning opportunity, both for the one that fails and those observing the failure.
