Why are Romanists and Lutherans so denominational and not biblical?

I read much on the CH where Romanists and Lutherans make their arguments based upon denominational polity, tradition and dogma while using the Bible as a prooftext for their church polity, tradition and dogma. Why is the Bible secondary to denominational catechisms/concordias? Why is tradition lifted up higher above the Bible?
Why are people so denomination focused rather than focused upon Biblical literacy?

Lutherans have given you scripture as proof for things yet you deny that's what scripture says. Perhaps YOU are the one not biblical?
