If this board is any indication, I'd say men discuss faith more than women. What are your experiences on this?

I think you're right, men do. It almost seems like if you bring up faith to a female on a forum that they take offense to it somehow? Of course that isn't true for all women! But, mostly.

Geez on one forum I talked with a lady who...identified herself as a Proverbs 31 Wife by the way she talked! That's very rare! Her faith in the Lord, and praise to the Lord is almost all she talked about!

A lot of women I know are faithful to God, and they see their faith as being more emotionally led than doctrinally led. I used to be embarrassed to talk about my faith when I was in my 20s because even though I knew the Lutheran catechism and a lot of scripture verses, I didn't know how to talk to people of other denominations. We don't all speak the same terminology in the same way. It's taken years of practice to feel comfortable in talking about theology as opposed to just saying I believe, but I don't want to talk about it because it's personal.

I don't get it, you used to be embarrassed to talk about your faith, but you are not now...but you wont talk about it because it's personal? I don't get it.

1 Peter 3:15
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:.../KJV

I think we're supposed to.
