I had neighbors that would take their Christmas tree down Christmas day and it would be out on the curb. My family tended to leave it up until after the New Years. When do you take your Christmas tree and decorations down?

Any other special Christmas traditions at your house? We use to go to a park where they have a light display. You drive through the park and it cost 10 dollars to drive through and it is worth it.

I knew a foster parent who kept her tree up the whole year one year. It became the holiday tree. Whatever holiday was going on it was decorated with that theme. So it became the Valentine's tree, the St.Patrick's day tree, you get the idea

I have a tradition of putting my tree up the first weekend in December and taking it down within the first week after the New Year. Most people argue that it should remain until after epiphany but that's their tradition to do so, not mine. The Christmas season continues through epiphany but that doesn't mean I'm forced to keep up a tree that's collecting dust ;)

This was the first year I did not put up a tree. We were out of town anyway for it so I didn't even bother. I saw plenty of other peoples' trees!

She threw her own tree out already. It fell out completely and she had enough of the mess. She put it up too early this year.
