when do you open presents?

I know some families who open presents for Christmas on Christmas eve night and some wait till morning. When do you generally open presents?

When I was a kid we could open one on Christmas eve, which usually was something from my aunt and uncle, usually a book.

We opened everything on Christmas morning as a kid and when our daughter was born we started letting her get into her stocking before we woke up to keep her busy for a while so we could sleep a bit more. But then as she got older we let her open the stocking the night before. I still put things in her stocking and she's 27 All other gifts are still opened on Christmas.

Christmas Morning, but when I was a kid we didn't celebrate Christmas in the same way with Santa and all of that, so there was no real gift opening.
