Back from holiday to a bright, sunshiny 25 degrees this morning. Happy to report no water in the basement after all the rain that came while we were gone. Now to enjoy some more coffee.

That's great news (about the basement...not so much the cold weather).

It was 30F this morning at 6:30 when I had to go take care of the neighbor's dogs. I stayed outside with them for a while and it didn't feel cold at all really. It felt like it was in the 50s but maybe I wasn't awake yet LOL

I saw the forecast!! My husband has a friend from childhood who lives in Minnesota and we were going to send him a picture of us in shorts sitting out on the back deck We can be cruel.

It was 78 yesterday here and now it's 39 but will be 59 later according to Accuweather.

When it is a perfect 80 degree day and your friend is sitting on the dock or out in a boat, then pay back will happen.

It's still warm here, today was around 27c. It's autumn. Winter is coming!

It will get up to 70F today! Right now it looks like it might rain but so far nothing.

My snowblower gets too good of gas mileage. I blew out the drive yesterday after we got 8 inches of snow, but still didn't run all the gas out.
It's still snowing, but not accumulating since it's just above freezing.
The snow we got was not white. Apparently the strong winds brought sand from New Mexico and Texas up with the storm and it fell with the snow. Bizarre.
