I haven't gone on a picnic in a long time and with my daughter and niece coming to visit I thought it would be a nice thing. Fresh fruit is always a plus to have but I wasn't sure what else to put in besides sandwiches.

basically anything the two of you really like and will keep. Picnics are not limited except by the ability to keep the food from spoiling. Also some places have grills depending on where you go so I ribs or chicken or steaks with potato or macaroni salad and baked beans. Sandwiches are wide open to whatever you really like.
