Did you have a favorite song when you were growing up? Or a few? Do you hear something on the radio (the oldies???) and it reminds you of your childhood?

I went through several phases with music in my childhood and young teenage years from rock to country. I don't think I could just pick one song. I have a 70's channel on my pandora that i listen to that sometimes remind me of my childhood.

I didn't have a favorite I could point to at any time in my early life, although I can say with some clarity what I listened to when I was younger:

Prior to/ or early teenage years:

- Huey Lewis and the News
- Rush
- Asia
- Abba
- Van Halen
- The Cars
- Night Ranger
- Def Leppard
- Wham
- New Order
- U2
- Various classical music my folks had on record.

Teens:

Bon Jovi
Iron Maiden
Dokken
Metallica
Depeche Mode
Ozzy Osbourne
King Diamond
Steve Vai
Bach (mostly Andres Segovia at the time)
Dead or Alive
Deep Purple
Dream Theater (actually early 20's for these guys)

I liked a lot of other music too, including much more classical reaching adulthood - but these I typically listened to more than others when I was younger. So my favorites includes a lot of musicians.
