In general, probably the ones they are most prone to find tempting.

In fairness it can be tricky to determine how to balance cultural expectations and eternal requirements where Scripture is concerned. We ignore a lot of Paul's writing - we don't demand women have long hair or cover their heads and we increasingly ignore his call to stay in a marriage regardless. More and more churches are appointing female pastors despite Paul's prohibition against a woman having spiritual authority over a man. Is it sinful to ignore Paul's direct command and appoint a female pastor? If not, what about Paul's comments about homosexuality or sexual immorality in general? If so, should women today be covering their heads as Paul demanded?

Some years ago I heard a Christian speaker presenting an argument against gay marriage. The fundamental message of his group was that we should incorporate a New Testament model of marriage, although he subsequently revealed he was married to a previously divorced woman. So based on what Jesus said about remarriage he seemed to be OK with adultery as long as it wasn't with another man.

I suppose it's human nature to justify why the prohibitions against the things I want to do no longer apply, while the prohibitions against the things you want to do are still in force because, you know, we have to be true to the word.

Additionally, I think we TEND to focus on some wrong we see in OTHERS but not in ourselves. When I first read Lamb's post, I immediately thought of gluttony. A "sin" often allowed as all-you-can-eat buffets are filled with Christians after church, eating an ABSURD amount of food - often by obese folks. Now, WHY did I think of that? Because I'm 6'-1" and 160 pounds, and I tend to be rather healthy with my foods and eating. Ah, that 'log/speck" thing. I'd rather talk about the sin OTHERS are displaying, not mine.

People choose to ignore that they are guilty of every sin imaginable that has been done by fallen man.

They choose to believe they are not guilty of this sin or that sin....making them somewhat more deserving to enter those pearly gates.

There is no sin under the sun that a person, even a believer, is not capable of doing. Whether thought or deed.

I think it's whatever sins they are committing at that particular moment. Most people tend to look the other way when it comes to what sin they are committing but they'll point fingers at someone else doing the same thing.

People get caught up in righteousness so become judgmental. That's often a criticism of the right-wing from the left. But of course, the WOKE people are also condescending and judgmental.
