I think the last time I did gift exchange was in 2006, on a visit to family. I don't have family where I'm at and the friends I used to have we didn't exchange gifts. So this year I got a card from my only living parent. And a pkg of family related info, which I had asked for.

I did however, purchase a couple of rather expensive (for me) electronics testing/lab equipment that I need to help accomplish some goals. That and I acquired 2 books:

The Bad War - M.S. King (banned on Amazon)
Who re-wrote the bible - Lorraine Day

I got money from my dad which I'll use to go visit a friend in Arizona in 2024 and then my daughter got us a gift card. We stopped exchanging with the other family members due to money issues on one side of the family and for the other side, they just didn't want the stress of gift buying.

Is this your first air fryer? I love ours!! I make chicken drumsticks in it and it's so crispy. All I do is add a light coating of Pam spray and then season salt and cook it. The small ones take about 18 minutes and larger ones could take 24 minutes.

It's the first and from what I've seen with my brother's one, it makes food as good as a stove.

Oh yes!! They're awesome for certain things. We were on an asparagus kick for a bit too because they only take about 7 minutes. Just a little oil and salt and they're so yummy.

I love making stuffed peppers in them as well! Of course, the meat mix has to be done on the stove top, but they're worth the effort.

I damaged my ring finger a few months ago and had to get my last wedding ring cut off because of swelling, so my wife got me a new wedding band for Christmas since my finger is healed now. I forgot to tell my family that I needed clothes so I went to the store after Christmas and got myself 5 pairs of pants and a belt and then told my wife that I would consider it a Christmas present from her.
