Don't see why it;s called "Christian" universalism since Christ doesn't seem to be needed.

It's more 'Eat drink and be merry, for tomorrow we all get off scot free' from my understanding of it.

Which is in direct contradiction to Jesus saying the the soul can be destroyed.

Too secular in my opinion

Its adherents are most commonly intellectuals who give Christianity a chance but misunderstand faith

And they end up stuck in UU, holding all Scripture up to logical rigor

They just can't "take the leap"!

The antidote is the New Testament.

Could you define how you are using Universalism? Is it that Jesus died for all? Or that all will be saved?
