I believe it is man made but regardless of what is causing it there should be something done to help the poor polar bear! I'm surprised you made no comment on the polar bear.

They are in the wild and short of moving thyem (but to where) I dont think there is much that can be done, it is a shame and I hate seeing any animal suffer, just not sure what can be done. Dont know either what steps Canada is taking or the US in Alaska but I would hope they are doing something

I feel sorry for the animals who are suffering. That being said, CNN posted these videos in 2015 and someone pointed out that the bear looks more ill from disease than climate change.

When I was growing up we were warned that the planet was getting too cold. Now they're saying it's getting too warm.

While the bear is obviously starving to death, the cause is not obvious. It is more likely illness or injury rather than climate change that is the cause.

There have been a number of these bogus polar bear tragedy claims in recent years.

Polar bears look fuzzy and huggable, much like the baby harp seals made famous in the same way a few years back. No one cares if Global Warming or anything else endangers other species in the north (if it does) because they don't have as much of a human-like appearance we can identify with.

Typical ultra-conservative denial. But I'm not surprised, coming from the US.

I'm not sure if the video in the OP is the same as the one that National Geographic shot but here is a question and answer they did on their site since a lot of people were asking questions about the bear:

https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2017/12/starving-polar-bear-video-climate-change-spd/

A few things they mentioned...without an autopsy they wouldn't know why the bear was starving. Polar bears aren't inclined to have diseases like other types of bears. They don't know what happened to that particular bear but guessed that it probably died within 2 days of filming. Bears that are at most risk are those that live where there is seasonal ice (such as the bear in the video). The polar bears in Russia (where the biggest population is) are big and fat.

I assure you that 'ultra-conservatism' is not the bete noire you imagine. In fact, it's conservatism that conserves, not Socialism.

But as to your worries about polar bears being conserved, people of any political persuasion do have to examine the propaganda they're being fed on a daily basis by whatever government agency, private corporation, or other such cause. Responsible citizenship requires no less.
