Wasn't sure if this topic existed already so I thought I'd make a thread.

Currently I'm partway through with "Judaism's strange gods" by Michael Hoffman for which I found a pdf copy. Interestingly, this book has been taken off amazon's website (a link I found comes to a "oops, missing page" header), and while the author's other books are listed, this one is curiously missing.

I'm maybe 1/3 of the way through or so and am beginning to see why it might have been removed from a major vendor like Amazon. Not that I agree with such a removal, just find it more interesting because of it.

The Sword of Shannara trilogy by Terry Brooks. It's kinda sorta like Lord Of The Rings. It's a light read - fantasy, swords and sorcery kind of stuff. I've read it a few times before.

That sounds good. I loved Lord of the Rings.

That sounds good. I loved Lord of the Rings.

I enjoyed the LOTR books. The Terry Brooks series are very similar in concept but obviously based in a different mythical land. He wrote a few books about this mythical land, then wrote another series that was totally different, then wrote some more books that indicated how they all meshed together. If you're looking for detailed plots and extended character development you'll find Brooks to be a bit thin. If you just want a fantasy world that starts to feel like a familiar ground it's good as brain candy.

Upon hearing of the Queen's death, I decided it would be a good time to give Tim Cohen's work a good looking through. Heard about the book years ago but never could be bothered to obtain a copy. The title of the work is:

"The Anti-Christ And A Cup Of Tea"

Whew! Saying it's extensive is an understatement, and I've only skimmed through it today.

It can be downloaded for free at: The Antichrist And A Cup Of Tea [PDF] [p8pncqckh8k0]

I watched a rather disturbing video documenting Jewish blood ritual murder from 300AD up to the present day, spanning multiple countries, and I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure I got the author of the book I'm about to read off it. Today it's been called "blood libel" which is routinely denied as "antisemitism" - all cases of it.

BLOOD PASSOVER
The Jews of Europe and Ritual Murder
by Ariel Toaff

So far, all I've read is the Foreword:

FOREWORD BY ORIGINAL TRANSLATORS

The following translation was performed free of charge to protest an
injustice: the destruction by the ADL of Ariel Toaff’s Blood Passover
on Jewish ritual murder. The author is the son of the Chief Rabbi of
Rome, and a professor of Jewish Renaissance and Medieval History at
Bar-Ilan University in Israel, just outside Tel Aviv.
Dr. Toaff is uniquely qualified to write this book, being thoroughly
familiar with the derivative literature in English, French, German and
Italian, as well as the original documentary sources in Latin, Medieval
Italian, Hebrew and Yiddish. This is not something he worked on in
secret. On the contrary, he worked on it openly with his university
students and colleagues in Israel for several years; one of his students
was even going to publish a paper on the subject. The author is
extremely careful about what he says, and his conclusions must be
taken seriously. It reads like a detective story.
If it had been published in Israel, in Hebrew, no one would have
cared. There are large bodies of literature in Hebrew that Jews do not
wish Gentiles to know about. But Dr. Toaff’s announcement of its
publication in Italy, in Italian, raised a worldwide firestorm of fury.
Under unbearable pressure, the book was withdrawn from publication.
Come in out of the darkness, and strike a blow for the light.
READ AND PASS ON.

The controversial "The International Jew" by Henry Ford, 1920. So far 3 chapters in. It's well written and easy to digest. Also banned (like a lot of other literature in the last few years) by Amazon. Amazon's censorship has driven me to other sources for my literature needs.
