Other than that, I recall the early days of TV in the 1950s when news and sports was broadcast live to air. A well known sports broadcaster was giving his report and it became obvious that he was royally drunk. At one point he picked up his basset hound and placed it on the desk in front of him. The dog had an erection and the commentator started talking about it. The screen went blank for several minutes. The guy was never heard of again.
