If your church is still closed because of the virus have you visited other churches that might be open just to worship in person? Would you consider it?

If my church is closed, it is very likely others SHOULD be but are circumventing the legal mandates and safety measures.... so, no.

For ME, my church is my church, my family, my brothers and sisters. I'm very connected. And supportive. I don't go elsewhere (unless for a Baptism or similar).

In my former life, I sometimes traveled for conferences or meetings, and could be away on a Sunday. Worship was still critical. Finding an LCMS or WELS church (especially close to my hotel) was not always easy, so often I went to the closest Catholic Church. I'd miss the Eucharist but I usually found a church with a worship service that was meaningful. But if the closest Catholic Church was far too - well, I'd make that LCMS or WELS one work. When in Europe, geography determined this since in Europe there is a very -dominate denomination in a region. If Catholic, I could follow things well since pretty much every Catholic church has the same liturgy, just in the native language so I could follow well knowing where the order of service is at, thing is, in Europe, the churches are empty making me fell just a bit obvious.

No, I'm not open to coming into a building right now and worshiping in person. There are other options that are more appealing and offer no risk

My church is open for services, and I've been attending since they started. I was attending even when we weren't hosting services, as I was involved in pre-recording things and posting them online. It was a bit weird being in church with a sermon preached to less than half a dozen people but it helped get us through.

If we weren't open I'd certainly consider going to a church that was. I'm really not interested in doing everything online and I'm not interested in being told whether I should be afraid. Humans are social creatures and we need to interact with each other.

Our congregation is almost all older people so I understand their need to be away for now and am being patient.

Our church is also largely older people although many of them were chomping at the bit to return to church.

Here where I live in Texas, our churches opened in May. Therefore, this hasn't been an issue for us. Those who determine it is best to stay away, continue to tune in online. (well, actually they phone in)
