None of those are actually close to me, unfortunately. I've only heard of Aldi and Trader Joe's. I've never been inside a Trader Joe's but my mom used to shop at Aldi back where I used to live. It was cheap then but I've heard you have to watch what you buy because not everything is a bargain anymore.

Where I live, Aldi is indeed cheap for most processed type stuff, cheaper than the nearby supermarket. For fresh produce, I often go to a nearby fruit and veg shop however, as it's cheaper there than either Aldi or the other supermarkets. Beans and seeds are even cheaper at Chinese and Indian shops, where they can be bought in bulk for reasonable prices.

I go to Aldi sometimes, but it's not as cheap as it used to be. I used to first go to Aldi and then another one, but then the carrots were cheaper in the other shop. If you want the cheapest of the cheapest, you have to compare every product. Milk is the same everywhere, I saw.
In Germany is an Aldi Sud. That's really cheap. We bought loads of Haribo macht Kinder froh in Germany. 69 cent instead of 2 euro for a bag of candy.

I shop at none of them as I don't live near any of them.
