Time for bed!

What is your preferred nighttime setup (number of pillows, body pillows, specific blanket)?

One pillow as long as it's thick enough. Whatever sheets and blankets are necessary to stay warm or cool enough. In the winter that usually means a sheet and blanket, in the summer just a sheet.

I don't go for all sorts of custom pillow, cushions, blankets etc. They seem like the kind of thing my body would come to depend upon, which would just make it harder to sleep anywhere else. I don't feel like finding vacations turn into sleep deprivation projects and don't really want to be hauling a load of custom stuff around with me.

When it is time for bed, I call to my cat and say "It's sleepy times, puss puss". After checking the doors and turning off the lights, I enter my bedroom, turn on the light, and puss enters. She then cuddles my feet with her head for a time before something else takes her interest and I slip under the covers. If she meows I tell her it's time for bed and soon she is asleep.

I have 4 pillows but only use 2 when I sleep. I use a sheet and a light blanket but also have a thick comforter folded at the end of the bed in case the sheet and blanket aren't warm enough throughout the night. I also have a fan running for the white noise.
