Thoughts on Drone delivery?

What are your thoughts on stores like Walmart and Amazon doing drone deliveries?

I stopped ordering online from Walmart and other places that use that door dash or insta cart. I learned fast that, it's not a good thing when a teenager does my shopping, and all this online payment crap isnt convenient when the constantly screw up the order and charge me too much.

It's funny how when I place an order they take the money out of my account within 30 seconds of ordering. But to get a card refunded for an over charge takes 6 to 8 weeks? That's what they said.

So no, I dont need no stinking drones trying to deliver food to me, lol! I even stopped using self checkout. If they can pay a kid to fly a drone to my house, then then pay a kid to run a cash register (double bag that one!) No way, big time deal breaker.

The problem I see with drone delivery is, where would the items be dropped? Or is drone maneuvered into place and release the item and then it takes off from there, meaning porch.

Good points. I would worry about fragile things falling from the sky.

I heard that some places are starting to pass laws where homeowners can shoot down drones over their own property. Not in ohio sadly, I used to be a pretty good clay bird shooter, lol.

But there are other ways if you get harassed or spied on by a drone make you an antenna with two different size poles and run it through 2 linear amplifiers and just point it at the drone and it will shut down! Lol.
