I was on vacation when Hurricane Sandy went right overhead. Truth be told had it not been for the news I wouldn't have noticed it was a superstorm - it was a bit wet and windy but aside from that it wasn't a big deal where I was.
Aside from that mostly just storms and relentless rain. I think 4 inches in a day was about the worst I've seen myself.
