It is amazing the things you learn when searching the internet.

“Anyone who attempts to construe a personal view of God which conflicts with Church dogma must be burned without pity.”
– Pope Innocent III

The Pope is now issuing a warning that rejection of a coming change will be regarded as a sin of Divination. The word divination comes from the Latin divinare, meaning “to foresee” or “to be inspired by a god.” To practice divination is to uncover hidden knowledge by supernatural means. It is very big for the Pope to already issue a death warrant to anyone that rejects it. The Pope here has hinted that the change will be so huge that it’s rejection is tantamount to idolatry. So in a around about way, the Pope is saying if you disagree with the church, you are sinning the sin of divination because you are declaring that God told you contrary to what the church teaches.

Pope Francis spoke before a Joint Session of Congress, where he explicitly lectured Americans on illegal immigration, redistribution of income, the death penalty, and climate change, but made only veiled references to abortion and same-sex marriage. It is no wonder President Obama was so happy to see the Pope in Washington, D.C back in Sept 2015.

Pope is preaching moral relativism... which is the downfall leading to depravity sanctioned. Here is a quote of the Pope's speech...

A delicate balance is required to combat violence perpetrated in the name of a religion, an ideology or an economic system, while also safeguarding religious freedom, intellectual freedom and individual freedoms. But there is another temptation which we must especially guard against: the simplistic reductionism which sees only good or evil; or, if you will, the righteous and sinners. The contemporary world, with its open wounds which affect so many of our brothers and sisters, demands that we confront every form of polarization which would divide it into these two camps. We know that in the attempt to be freed of the enemy without, we can be tempted to feed the enemy within. To imitate the hatred and violence of tyrants and murderers is the best way to take their place…. Our response must instead be one of hope and healing, of peace and justice.
It sounds so nice. Pope seems to be reading from President Obama’s hymnal. It is the one world government mantra. My problem with the Pope's opinion is that if it were the law, the forum would be shut down. We would not have freedoms, because as believers, the world of Yeshua is not one who teaches moral relativism. So if the sin of divination is the fact that I study prayerfully the word of God and hear His voice telling me contrary to church "wishes"....[ because they are so subtle changing.. that where once they were strong on position, they now raise the rainbow flag.] then so be it.

What is amazing is that not a word comes out of the Pope's mouth about abortion. Abortion—Human life begins at conception in the mother’s womb. For God tells us, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew thee, and before you were born I consecrated you" (Jeremiah 1:5). Abortion is therefore murder. The oldest Christian book (besides parts of the Bible) is the Didache, a book composed by the twelve apostles or their disciples. The Didache proclaims the ancient teaching of the Catholic Church, "You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish" (Didache 2,2). All Catholics who procure a completed abortion or participate in execution of an abortion are automatically excommunicated from the Catholic Church (CCC 2272 and CIC Canon 1314).

Just in case people don't think that the Pope has power in our government rulings.. Chief Justice John G. Roberts is a member of an international popish brotherhood, a crusading Military Order with its first spiritual and political allegiance to the pope of Rome. There are now six Roman Catholics and three Jews loyal to Jesuit Pope Francis I making up “the Court.” Two of those Jews, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen G. Breyer, are members of the New York City-based Council on Foreign Relations overseen by the city’s Archbishop, Timothy Cardinal Dolan. These Agents for Rome are all “Yankees;” not one is from the American South! No Protestants or Baptists are allowed, especially Av1611 Reformation Bible-believing Protestants and Baptists! The Chief Justice is John Roberts who, after casting the deciding vote for pro-socialist-communist/pro-cartel-capitalist “Obama Care,” immediately left the country for Malta

I don't know much about the divination beliefs by the Popes but Pope Francis said this about abortion (you mentioned he only made veiled comments) in February: "The Pope responded by emphatically stating that abortion is "a crime" and "absolute evil" that cannot be justified. He also spoke on the topic of avoiding pregnancy." http://www.catholic.org/news/hf/faith/story.php?id=67431
