The problem is you get thrown in with racists and anti-Semites of the Nazi variety. Of course, now there is a leftist movement coming against Christian Zionism, but they are all into female supremacy (WOKE etc.) so that's also an ugly situation.

I think a lot of more mainline Christians don't fall for the Zionist stuff, it's mostly the fundies who take apocalyptic literature literally without understanding the literary style or meaning of the books.
