Pumpkin soup is good and so is roasted pumpkin.

Roasted Pumpkin tastes similar to roasted sweet potato. Both are delicious with gravy and/or butter

iam thinking this year for thanksgiving, i want to go off the grid by having chicken strips or nuggets in place of the usual roasted bird. we are trying to reduce our expenses.

here, turkey prices have risen over the past few years.. dont know why. chicken would be the best alternative bill

In Australia, because Christmas is in summer here, we have Ham more often than Turkey and the Ham can be ether hot or cold, smoked or roasted, and served either with roasted vegetables or salads. Christmas in summer is very nice indeed

I am not sure why the fireplace has a fire in it ... maybe the photo was made to help cold Christmas people feel more "at home"

Yes they have here as well but it is a one time a year thing for me just like ham at Christmas so dont mind paying the extra, ham I pick up when on sale

mmmm baked ham with orange glaze...served with a side of roasted brussel sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes and a nice pumpkin cheese cake ..still have 2 more months till thanksgiving
