Hello all! Another uncomfortable day here on the First Coast (heat index is 100° F.). But, it's a price I'm willing to pay for mild winters.

I gotta say though, I would love some of them PA hills...it's so flat here.

Yes, when I was about 12 I spent a winter in Fla, that is how I knew about Bok tower. I loved it at least then. I was in Tampa and we went to Sy Petersbburg and the ball park for the Cincinnatti Reds team, went to Busch Gardens, and traveled around Fla to all the tourist things. They say that now Tampa is not a nice area

It's been quite a long time since I've been to Tampa...one of my sisters goes quite a bit because her husband has season tickets to the Bucs and Rays.

When I was a kid, my dad was a trucker and he took me on many trips up the Pennsylvania Turnpike. I recall seeing more deer in PA than anywhere else.

Yes, Pa is noted for its deer population. During hunting season my county has quite a few killed. Many come here to hunt

We have deer issues too in Rural Georgia. I swear there is not but ONE good thing about hitting a deer. It is the one accident you can keep having and your insurance rates will not go up.

I think we are like number five. One thing mom always says when people leave our house at night ( particularly in the fall) is watch for deer. We have even been known to hit them in the driveway.

I am more likely to catch the sniffles when the weather is like that.

Is it too much to ask for 65° F. temps all year long with low humidity every day? Is that such an unreasonable request.
