With your cast on your foot that becomes a nuisance to travel that far for a day trip. I know an hour isn't THAT far, but in all consideration of what you're going through, it's exhausting. Plus it's winter! I'm not sure if the weather gets bad where you live but that's something else to keep in mind.

I'm not traveling anywhere with this cast on. The weather here now is pretty bad. Icy cold with snow today. I've seen the salt trucks out my window. I'm going to ask my step sister to come see me instead of going to go way out there myself.

It's still plenty hard getting down steps with this awkward thing. I don't consider anything easy about having a broken foot and broken ankle, the cast is a pain.

I can take this cast off and itch it but it's hard still to itch and it takes some time to get it off and then back on.

Yes, stay safe!! I haven't looked out the window yet but I heard sleet against the windows in the middle of the night and the wind was strong. So if you're having the same weather then stay in and relax

Thank you. I have at least 3 more weeks with the cast on so I'm not sure how fast it's healing or going to heal up but swiftly would be nice!

greetings CHers. been preoccupied as of lately. trying to create a theme from a generator on zetaboards..generators help the process of coding within the css which i dont fully understand..even so, its difficult for me..unlike mark's skills as a coder...thus its taking up time when i visit here

They certainly make roads more interesting, that's for sure. Had a couple of experiences where traction just vanished without warning, leaving me going round a bend sideways. Funny how that never happens in the summertime...

Snow is beautiful, and I'm always trying to balance the desire to not drive in the ice with the desire to get out and take pictures in the snow. This winter I hope we get enough snow to be photogenic but not so much for so long that it's still freezing in April.
