Weekend plans anyone?

I hope to get back to the park to walk and I want to buy a new grill. I found one in the Lowes ad that is gas/charcoal with an "easy" conversion. I need to look it up to see how easy is easy.

Other than work, I have some music to finish and some minor chores to do. Thinking about buying another small computer, just for Linux. I'm organized...somewhat...but I have so much data that I've moved around and each time I think I've gotten it all I find that when I'm looking for something it's not where it's supposed to be. Makes me terrified of wiping my OS drive for a clean install.

Why don't you buy an external hard drive?

I have one and have been moving data to it. It's file allocation table is also Windows. But the project of sorting and determining which data to save and which to discard is rather large - because the data referred to covers multiple areas and is scattered in different folders, including folders that were once drives. Some of it are just old programs, some personal files, including composed music that goes back more than 2 decades.

Besides, the computer I'm thinking of is cheap, small and will go nicely with my current set up. In this way I can still use Windows if I feel I need it, while becoming more familiar and accustomed to a Linux system on a separate computer. So, no dual booting. That's what I'm thinking at the moment.
