Solved the off topic forum

I noticed that posts there count, but the posts in the sub forum of fun and games do not. Is there a reason that it is ONLY the sub forum that does not count? I understand and support the whole fairness in contests thing, but I was just wondering if fun and games and its parent forum ( off topic) served the same purpose in a sense.

The off topic forum can have some great discussions for topics that do not have a forum home on here, so in turn post count is allowed. Whereas games while are fun, there isn't a need to have post count disabled which goes along with the fairness of contests.
