Desserts are evolving and being created as we speak. Gone are the days of classic cakes like red velvet and vanilla, and you can’t have a basic apple pie anymore without a scoop of ice cream or chocolate fudge drizzle on top of it. That being said, we should never complain about the ever-evolving nature of desserts, because they have brought so much joy to our dining experiences and may have even cut through family dinner tensions.
