It really depends on how you decide something was disastrous.
Back in the 90s I went on a date with a young lady. We were both interested to see the film Jerry McGuire but both of us came out of the cinema thinking it was garbage. On that basis the date wasn't brilliant, but the young lady in question is now my wife so it clearly wasn't all bad.
