Yes, but that verse doesn't address whether God will hand over whatever we want.

We must believe that God is in order to go to God. We clearly can't go to someone if we don't believe they exist. We can and should believe that God rewards those who seek him. But what form does that reward take? Is it a shiny Lamborghini, or eternal life in heaven? I'd be very wary of people who focus more on the Lamborghini than on the place in heaven.

We may not receive the things we don't believe but it doesn't follow that we will receive the things we do believe. That's a misapplication of logic. If God promises me something and I don't believe it then God may or may not give it to me anyway. But if I believe in a promise God never made he's not going to honor the promise however much I believe he will. Faith is one thing but blind and misplaced faith is another thing entirely.

I don't see your logic. Our Father has no problem with wealth. Abraham was very wealthy. So was Isaac and Jacob. And they were very flawed individuals, but our Father blessed them. And they were just His friends! We are His children! If you want a Lamborghini then ask God for one. Then go get it. God says in Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
King James Version (KJV)

The desires of one's heart who is without waver in their belief in Christ and the direction under GOD will always be synonymous with the will of the Father.

Faith in selfless Unity for Good.

I never said God did have a problem with wealth. There's a difference between having wealth and flaunting wealth.

Don't get too carried away with the "desires of thine heart" verse. If the desire of my heart was my own private harem God wouldn't give me that. If I truly "delight (myself) in the Lord" then the desires of my heart will change towards what God wants me to have, rather than me expecting God to meet every one of the things my flesh desires.

Paul knew what it was to have plenty; he knew what it was to have little. It's a bit naive to assume that just because some people in the OT were wealthy we will also be wealthy just for the asking. I'm sure God knows where we're likely to cross the line between trusting in God and trusting in earthly riches. There are examples of very rich Godly people in the Bible and there are also numerous warnings to those who trust in their own wealth.

If me owning a Lamborghini would bring glory to God I'm sure there would be a good chance of finding one in my future. But since it would be far more likely to bring glory to me I wouldn't expect God to be in too much of a rush to deliver one. It's hard to see how driving a Lamborghini brings any more glory to God than driving a Toyota.

The problem that the Hebrews / Jews had was that they heard the first part of what God said... "I will bless you" (Genesis 12:2) but ignored the rest of what He said, "so that you will be a blessing to others".

When people are looking for things, do they have it in mind that they can use it to bless others? Because that is the will of God.

I just watched a "movie" about The Secret. Apparently, The Secret is a brand name for The Law OF Attraction. It is a method whereby you meditate on things you want to happen, and the thoughts turn into things, and come true. I admit to being a proponent of visualization when it comes to physical things, like swinging a golf club, but for everything else? Unsure.
Does anyone have input/testimonials?
Is this practice heretical?

Leaving aside the question about it being "heretical" - can't you just test this for yourself?

Meditate on something you want. But do nothing about it. Does it come true?

In my experience, no. Some sort of action is required.
