I remember 105F at an island amusement park and we did not have any water. There were no fountains, but a lemonade stand that had a huge line. I almost got heat stroke or some such malady. This was in the 1980s. I remember walking through the throngs and a guy passing me said, "Man, it's hotter than Hell out here." I replied, "No, it's going to be a whole lot hotter in Hell." He kept walking.

Hottest day I experienced, a month or two ago, in the Summer in the South of England. Temperatures peaked at 37 degrees, and at the time, I believe I was delivering out on my motorbike but had to take regular breaks to avoid heatstroke.
