The US has Thanksgiving this month and even though we have members from other countries I still thought it would be nice to have a Thankful Thread.

I am thankful that my family is healthy.

I'm so thankful the campaign is over, all those ENDLESS (and so repetitive) commercials on TV have ended, all those misleading things in the mail and now pleasently absent. Even those zillions of cluttered yard signs are coming down. God is good.

I'm thankful that I have a house and a bike and a job, that the Lord solved everything at the office with my manager, that the husband of my collegue is doing great, that He protects everyone and all my family and friends and collegues will be saved and that Holland will be saved, I thank the Lord for protection of my bunnies whom I left alone hopping through my whole living room because I couldn't catch them. I thank the Lord for my kids, that they can be with me, I thank Him that He wakes me up to pray. I thank Him for my parents and all my great friends on this forum. Thank you Lord! Oh and for giving me strength and great pleasure to clean up the gigantic mess when I get home.

Yes, whether I like the choice made by the electoral college or not, it will be nice to have presidential politics (and politics in general) retreat back into the obscurity to which they belong. Politicians are like scabs...if we keep picking them, they'll never go away.

I am thankful that I saved enough money because it looks as though I will either be out of a job very soon or have limited hours. And I am thankful for that, because I'm not fond of working for my current manager.

I am thankful for music - as it lets me express the inexpressible, to share my feelings and my passion and things beyond my ability to fully comprehend that pours out.

I am thankful that the last few weeks I am getting along better with a female co-worker that was horrible to me for a long time after I first started.

I am thankful to Lammchen for being a listening ear and offering encouragement and being kind.

I am thankful to my mother for these same traits.

I am thankful not to have any debt whatsoever. Only debt to myself, and not monetary.

I am thankful for the internet for just being there and available.

I am thankful for Jesus.... and the mercy, forgiveness, salvation, eternal life, hope, courage, strength I have because of Him. I would not be alive.... I would be in hell right now if it were not for Jesus.

I am thankful that the most wonderful, beautiful, amazing woman in the world married me this year.

I am thankful for all the people in my life (in addition to my wife)..... parents (4 of them now), siblings, friends, co-workers, church family.... people are the greatest earthly blessing.

I am thankful for two job promotions last year... the purchase of a house..... lots of material blessings this year. Setting up a house TOGETHER.....

I am thankful for my church. It continues to be an enormous blessing to us.

Donald Trump made a deal in which the USA taxpayers will pay money to save those jobs. It will cost the taxpayers way more than the wages of the 1,000 employees.

This is not the place to speak politics or disrespect the leaders of another's country.

They haven't even started the job. Stop promoting fear and stress and propaganda.

I am thankful for all things. Those percievable and those not. Those i, in my finite understanding, understand to be good and those that I, in my vanity, perceive as bad.

I am thankful that I woke again. I am thankful that I get to not only witness the majesty of life, but too participate in it. I am thankful and have faith that my iniquities will not be weighed against my children and that they, in GOD's time will abide by the will of GOD in their lives, moreso than I have so far in my own. I am thankful that I am afflicted that I might be humbled and stripped bare and adorned with the full armor of the Lord by the will of GOD, not for my ease and peace but for the will of GOD and the sake of all His creation alone.
