I watched an old film from the early 1950s in which cathode ray tube televisions were a normal and natural feature of home life - isn't it interesting that it took about 50 years for a replacement technology for television come and now there are newer technologies competing to replace LCD. That's less than 20 years. Things are moving at a faster pace now. It is likely that things will move faster in the coming decade. I wonder where we'll be in 2030.

yes, technology seems faster now than lets say in 2008. the year i bought my now defunct pc running vista. back then, there was no mention of tablets or smartphones. but i do see some grey areas looking at transport tech..we still dont have a high speed railine in place because of all the red tape...while asian and european countries already has them in place. maybe we will..in 2020 lol. then there is tv.. HD, UHD and now SUHD whats next?
