Germany has been gracious in accepting the many refugees from Syria. There are people on both sides though who are for it and want to help and those against it who are leading demonstrations.

As a Christian, I'm glad they are receiving help. How would I feel if I had to leave my home and went to a foreign land with only what I could carry?

On the other hand, I wonder why those refugees did not go to a nation that was closer to home and was actually wealthy enough to support them? As well as knowing their language and customs?

I've been wondering the same thing and I'm willing to bet there is going to be common denominators.

It seems to me they want out of the Middle East as it is a hotbed for war right now. That is surely one common denominator. Still there may be some terrorists who try to get to other countries to kill people, too.

google jordanian refugee camps ... tent city in the desert .. but no one cares because its not richer europe ..

im concerned for the serbian border situation :( .. the serbs and croatians are known for intense racism (we saw that in recent times with the genocide attempts in that war .)

im also concerned for the arrogant attitude of the syrian refugees .. treating other nations as if they are owed entry and treating what aid they are given with contempt .
i am also concerned for the lack of love shown by all peoples throughout europe .. i am concerned for the souls of all men for they are set in their wickedness and unwilling to open the heart to the Gospel.
i am concerned for the sorrows that are soon to befall the nations and desire it upon no one .
lord forgive us our hard heartedness and cause us to weep for they who perish and they who suffer as you wept and as you loved us while we were yet dead in our sin -so cause us to love our enemy do good to those who persecute us pray for those who despitefully use us .. help us to love as you loved us .
