As a Christian, I believe our spiritual sense of warnings come from the Holy Spirit. And He can and will trouble our spirits as a warning, whether it be a person or a certain decision. We may not even know why we are troubled over it, as others may have a good opinion. But when that happens, we should not try and explain it away. If it's a person, we just recognize it, and observe. If it's a decision, I make no decision I am troubled over.
Also, there are times when my spirit is troubled, and I have no reason to know why. I believe it has to do with the spiritual warfare taking place concerning something in my life but has not yet reached my understanding. It has not yet reached the physical. My spirit senses it. But my physical mind yet has no understanding of it.

God can send the angels to protect us, so there have been moments when I wonder if they were the ones who saved me from trouble on some occasions.

I feel that way also. There are events that could be explained as good luck or 'just the way things work' in the natural world. At the same time, I have to wonder at certain developments that were far more meaningful in my life, and which made possible later developments that were positive by any standard and also were good for other people.
