I recovered after about a week but a couple of weeks later felt unwell again and got a sore throat, nastier and longer lasting. Then mild headache and reddened dry eyes, which was alarming. Has anybody had this?
I hear people are getting symptoms that go on for a while though covid itself was not too bad.

Yeah, persistent headaches, bodyaches, pins & needles are all medically recognised after effects of Covid. The headaches really spike with pressure from coughing, sneezing, passing wind and all other physical exertion. Regular daily doses of paracetamol alleviate these symptoms but they reoccur without the meds.
